PUMA 908 CONCEPT
So for this design my goal was to design a low profile basketball shoe for a small forward, that grants forefoot energy return, ankle stability, and a quick and efficient lock down.
I wanted the design to be adaptable for all positions. One of the problems I focused on solving in this design is returning energy to the player while they are accelerating, by combining PEBAX foam and Graphene to create a spring in the forefoot, granting energy return. The shoe is surrounded in PUMA’s Nitro foam midsole and heel counter, with a knit upper, far-infrared textile sock liner.

New Balance " Shinobu Runners"
This was my design submission for the Pensole x New balance master class.
So for this design my goal was to design a New Balance running shoe that stabilizes a flat foot runners over pronation. I wanted to use Formlabs and New balances 3d printed material rebound resin in a unique way, rather than just putting it in the midsole it’s also utilized in the heel counter for stability. In the Tooling it is a combination of both fuel cell and rebound resin as a unique way to cushion impact and return energy to the runner. Upper is made of Marinylon , which is recycled nylon fishing fabric. Using this will protect our oceans from pollution.

NV1 "YONAH" (DOVE)
In 2021 I took a course called “Brooklyn Shoe Space.” This course is where I learned how to construct a shoe, and this design is the product of that. The shoe is completely wearable and fits like a glove. It includes an ankle cover made with this parachute material, that can be adjusted using a drawstring. For tighten that vamp it includes an adjustable strap. Underneath the upper is a sock liner that grants your foot stability in the shoe since this is a completely laces less design. This was my first time bringing a design to life.
ALLBIRDS "AVIATOR"
Like many of Allbirds footwear this is a completely sustainable running shoe. The materials consist of Kevlar, lyocell, and merino wool. The shoe includes a dial lacing system for easy in the go tightening,” twist it tight and go.” Also has a sock upper that gives you easy access in and out of the shoe, while doubling as ankle protection. The unique teeth like traction that claws and grips on tough surfaces.
NEW BALANCE "ACHILLES"
An original silhouette by me with a unique lacing system the New Balance Achilles is a running shoe that demands perfection from its runner. It includes a new material that was developed with technology of Form labs and New Balance through 3d printing. For runners with high arch the shoe also has a foam arch support in the center of the midsole.
ADIDAS X YEEZY (LST HPE) BSKTBL CONCEPT
A basketball concept shoe of the former Yeezy and Adidas partnership. For this design, I was thinking about stability. A neoprene ankle protector, that keeps the ankle in place while the player is in lateral movement. To help the foot not spill out the shoe during quick stops, the design has a toe to heel counter Nubuck leather mudguard. This mudguard serves as a cage for your foot, almost like a dame for water. The vamp consists of Polartec delta, for flexibility and cooling properties. Sole consist of a matte rubberized (TPU) midsole filled with boost for impact and a rubber herringbone traction outsole.
YEEZY 1150 B00TS
This design is my execution of an elevated snow boot, with its smooth calf skin leather upper and thick elevated soles. Nylon drawstring upper for easy access and to be able to tighten and contain the inside of the shoe from outside weather.
I wanted the silhouette to live in that Yeezy DNA .
Carhartt Bio-tex
I’m proud of this design cause the “Carhartt Biotex” was my submission for the Pensole Lewis college and Carhartt master class, The focus was the green industry, so my goal was to design a safe and sustainable work boot.
The main materials for this design were Gore-Tex epe, Carhartt’s storm defender water resistant membrane and pinatex leather which also a sustainable material. The boot also includes a composite toe rather than steel toe for lighter movement. Thermoplastic Polyurethane fil to absorb toe impact.
Carhartt Turf Runners
This design was made during the masterclass with Pensole and Carhartt. They brief the team of designers to pick a unique work profession and design helpful footwear and apparel for that profession. The profession my group and I picked was Wildlife filmmaker. The problem I solved through this design was, giving them a softer impact when they hit the ground so they don't disturb the wildlife they are filming. I solved the problem by exposing the midsole on heavier spots of the foot like the ball of the foot. Another problem was exposure to elements, they are in hazardous environments tracking animals so they need footwear that can protect against those environments. So I added a water-resistant ariaprene booty that extends to the toe. Wildlife filmmakers have an active job so I had to think of their daily movements, which made me add the cuts in the upper for flexibility. For comfort when they are crouching down for an hour. The materials for this design consist of algae bloom, ariaprene, and Cordura ballistic woven.
